What is SkynPen ULTIMA L3?

A cordless, handheld microneedling pen designed for home use. It creates precise vertical micro-channels in the upper layers of skin using single-use sterile cartridges. The depth is adjustable via a dial on the device. It is not a derma roller — the needle geometry and motion are different.

How is SkynPen different from a derma roller?

A derma roller enters the skin at a 45° angle and exits at a different angle, which creates a tearing motion. SkynPen strikes vertically at 90° and withdraws cleanly. The difference matters for how the skin responds and how evenly the treatment covers each zone.

What cartridges are included?

SkynPen comes with a starter set of cartridges. Additional cartridges are sold separately in 10-packs, in eight pin-type variants: Round Nano, 3×3 Nano, 5×5 Nano, 9-Pin, 12-Pin, 24-Pin, 36-Pin, and 42-Pin. Each is single-use and sterile. Not sure which to choose? Contact us at support@skynpen.com.

Using the device

How deep should I set the device?

For home use, we recommend 0.25–0.5mm. Depth should be chosen based on the zone you are treating, not on how many sessions you have completed. Thin, bony areas like the forehead call for a shallower setting. Fleshier areas like the cheeks can handle the fuller range. Your User Guide has a full zone-by-zone reference.

How often should I use SkynPen?

Every few weeks — typically once a month. Skin needs time between sessions to complete its repair response. Using more frequently does not accelerate results; it disrupts the process. Between sessions, Nano cartridges can be used more gently as they do not break the skin.

Can I use SkynPen around my eyes?

The eye area requires care. Never treat within the orbital rim — the bony ridge around the eye socket. If treating nearby areas, use a Nano cartridge at low speed and shallow depth only.

What should I do after a session?

Apply a gentle, alcohol-free product such as hyaluronic acid immediately after. For the first 24–48 hours: skip makeup, avoid saunas, pools, and direct sun. For at least one week: skip retinoids, AHA/BHA acids, and exfoliating products. Always wear SPF the day after a session. Full aftercare guidance is in your User Guide.

Can I use numbing cream before a session?

Yes, but it must be completely removed before you begin. Residue left on skin during treatment carries a safety risk. Wipe away all excess, then cleanse with a gentle antiseptic and let the skin dry fully before starting.

Orders and returns

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date you receive your order. The device must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Replacement cartridges cannot be returned once the hygiene seal has been broken. To start a return, contact us at support@skynpen.com before sending anything back.

I am in the EU — what are my rights?

EU customers have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must be in its original, unused condition. Opened sterile cartridges are excluded from this right for hygiene reasons, as permitted under EU consumer protection law.

How long does a refund take?

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at support@skynpen.com.
