A derma roller enters the skin at a 45 degree angle and exits at a different angle, which creates a tearing motion. SkynPen strikes vertically at 90 degrees and withdraws cleanly. The geometry is different, and geometry matters when you are working in the upper layers of skin.

Every SkynPen comes with 2 Round Nano cartridges, individually sealed, and the Your First Session guide (PDF). Additional cartridges are sold separately in 10-packs, in eight variants: Round Nano, 3x3 Nano, 5x5 Nano, 9-Pin, 12-Pin, 24-Pin, 36-Pin and 42-Pin. Each is single-use and sterile.

For home use, we recommend 0.25 to 0.5mm. Choose depth based on the zone you are treating, not on how many sessions you have completed. Thinner skin areas such as the forehead and around the eyes should always stay at the shallow end.

Start at 0.25 mm and speed 2, once a week, and only when your skin has fully calmed down. If your skin is slow to settle, once a month. Never more than once a week. At 0.5 mm, go less often, every few weeks. Using the device more often does not improve results and may irritate the skin.

Never treat within the orbital rim, the bony ridge around the eye socket. If treating nearby areas, use a Nano cartridge only, at low speed and shallow depth.

Apply a gentle, alcohol-free product such as hyaluronic acid immediately after your session.

For the first 24 to 48 hours: skip makeup, avoid saunas, pools, gyms, and direct sun. Sleep on a clean pillowcase.

For at least one week: skip retinoids, AHA and BHA acids, and exfoliating products. Your skin barrier needs time to recover before reintroducing active ingredients.

Yes, but it must be completely removed from the skin before you begin. Residue left on skin during treatment carries a safety risk.

If your skin does not visibly change in texture, pore size or overall tone, email support@skynpen.com within 90 days. Send the device back with its accessories (return shipping at your cost) and we refund you in full within 10 business days of receiving it. Replacement cartridges cannot be returned once the hygiene seal is broken.

EU customers have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must be in its original, unused condition.

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
